HARPIST Harriet Earis joins forces with jazz guitarist Clovis Phillips for an acoustic night mixing Celtic influences and jazz riffs.
Harriet has toured worldwide as a solo harpist, and with Irish band 'Siansa', and is a winner of the Open Stage Award at the Celtic Connections Festival,
She has given harp recitals around the world, touring America 16 times, six tours of Germany, a Canadian tour and concerts in Amsterdam,France, Belgium, Ireland and Holland.
In December 2007 she played solo in the Royal Albert Hall in London and in the 02 Millennium Dome as a soloist with the "Young Voices Tour".
She has also performed as a soloist at msot of the main Welsh festivals, and represented Wales in the Pan Celric Festival, in France.
Harriet is now in a new duo with Welsh guitarist Clovis, who has been playing folk music in bands since he was four.
He completed a degree in Contemporary Music in Salford, Manchester before doing postgraduate work studying jazz in London.
Together Harriet and Clovis play a mixture of Celtic music, jazzier numbers and their own compositions - expect everything from Robat ap Huw to ragtime!
The pair will play at Cuffern Manor on Thursday, February 5, at 7.30pm.
