THE 'wild west' frontier town of Fishguard is holding the UK's first Spaghetti Western Festival next week.
Theatr Gwaun has decided to take the town's frontier to the next level by hosting the event from February 7-9.
The theatre will be showing wall-to-wall classic films such as A Fistful of Dollars, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, the marvellously named Duck you Sucker, and the original Django. Alongside, there will be a Morricone music night; a movie poster exhibition; “Bourbon and Boots” party; western-themed pub quiz; discussion groups; and even a “make your own costume” event.
Organisers from Fishguard are hopeful the event will grow to rival Porthcawl’s famous Elvis festival.
