Bedlinog 5-66 Haverfordwest
HAVERFORDWEST Ladies RFC maintained their push for promotion with a comprehensive away win at Bedlinog on Sunday.
With five squad players unavailable, the ladies made the long trip to south Wales with just 14 players, going down to just 13 in the second half due to an injury.
The game was an opportunity to try out new players and combinations, which was a great success as the team soon clicked and scored regular tries, with eight of the 10 converted by stand in outside half Sophie Rees.
Player of the match went to centre Rachel Harding who worked tirelessly all game and was rewarded for her great support play with an excellent try.
he other try scorers were skipper Nina Colville who was unplayable with four, Awen Prysor (2), Clodagh Llewhellin, Sophie Rees and Lyn Egelstaff.
Haverfordwest entertain Gorseinon at home this Sunday at 2.30pm.
