Police are appealing for the public's help in finding a vulnerable missing man with strong links to Pembrokeshire. Paul Davies, aged 26, was out with carers on a shopping trip to Weston town yesterday (Thursday) at 2.30pm when he ran away.

He had been detained under the Mental Health Act at a secure unit in the Weston area following his conviction for a serious assault.

Police say Mr Davies suffers from several medical conditions as well as mental health problems.

Concerns are now growing for his welfare.

It is thought likely that Mr Davies may have absconded to Pembrokeshire as he has strong links with the county.

Anyone who knows Mr Davies' whereabouts or who might have seen him in the last 24 hours, is asked to contact Weston Police Station on 0845 456 7000.
