Police are appealing for information as to the whereabouts of a Milford Haven man who has gone missing from hospital in Aberystwyth.

Michael Jones is originally from the Milford Haven area. He was a patient at Bronglais Hospital when he went missing and was last seen in the hospital at around 1.30pm on Thursday July 23rd .

There have been no sightings of him or any indications as to his whereabouts since last Thursday but it is believed he may have made his way into Aberystwyth town.

He is around 5foot 10inches, of medium to large build, with light brown or red hair and a moustache. He usually wears a gold neck chain with a cross and a gold wedding ring.

He is believed to have been wearing a navy blue jumper, blue jeans and black shoes or clogs before he went missing.

Dyfed-Powys Police say that they are becoming increasingly worried about Mr Jones' welfare and that there are concerns for his mental health.

His family, along with the police, are appealing for anyone who may have seen Mr Jones, or who has any information relating to his whereabouts, to immediately contact Aberystwyth Police station on 101.
