Broad Haven coastguards are currently a Newgale beach following reports of a dead whale washed up on the pebbles.
Coastguards say the cause of the whale's death is currently unknown.
The whale is thought to be a Minke whale.
As the tide is currently in and there are stormy conditions, the coastguards team is keeping onlookers safe. Pembrokeshire County Council is also in attendance.
Milford Haven Coastguard Operations Centre has informed the Marine Conservation Society and the UK Cetacean Stranding Investigations programme.
A spokesperson for Pembrokeshire County Council reminded members of the public that Tier 4 Covid-19 restrictions remain in place for non-essential travel and asked people to stay away from the area.
