DISCOVER the extraordinary story of bird migration at a special event at Pembroke Dock Library this evening, April 12.
David Saunders MBE will be discussing the journeys of thousands of miles undertaken by migrating birds, some weighing no more than three tea bags.
In 1960, David became the first warden of Skomer Island and has spent a lifetime in wildlife conservation, for which he was awarded the MBE in 2003.
He now writes regularly for Bird Watching magazine and Natur Cymru, and has published a number of books including the RSPB Guide to British Birds.
David’s talk starts at 7pm and it is free to attend, with no booking required. For more information, contact Pembroke Dock Library on 01437 775 825.
