Mr M. T. John
Haverfordwest (formerly of Rosemarket)
The death occurred on May 12th at Withybush Hospital, of Michael Thomas John, of Marychurch Court, Haverfordwest.
Michael, elder son of the late Leslie and Rosie John, was born 61 years ago in Rosemarket, where he spent most of his life until moving to Haverfordwest.
He worked as a bricklayer, working on various building sites in the area. Until ill health forced early retirement, he was employed at the cheese factory in Merlins Bridge.
Mike was a gifted amateur artist. He was also an active member of the Pembroke Guild of Freemen.
He leaves to mourn: Marilyn and Peter Blight (sister and brother-in-law); Alan and Veronica John (brother and sister-in-law); Mary (niece); Mark and Suzanne (nephew and niece); Fan and George Harries (aunt and uncle); June John and Margaret Coomber (aunts); Tom Ryan (uncle); Dawn-Marie Mathias (goddaughter), together with cousins too numerous to mention.
The funeral took place at St David's and St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Haverfordwest on Friday, May 16th, with interment at Rosemarket Cemetery.
The bearers were Mark John (nephew); Geoffrey Chapman (cousin), David Sherratt and Neil Adams (lifelong friends). Unable to attend were Ted Coomber, George Chapman and Ossie Mordecai (uncles).
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Glyn Thomas and Son, assisted by Susan Price. If desired, donations may be made to Angle Lifeboat, and sent to Eileen Murphy, Ivydene, 26 West Street, Rosemarket, Milford Haven. SA73 1JH.

HAVERFORDWEST
The death occurred at Withybush Hospital, Haver-fordwest, on April 18th of Barbara Jones, of 5 Vawers Close, Haverfordwest. She was 61, and had been in hospital for two weeks.
A Haverfordwest native, Barbara had worked at Withybush Hospital for many years and was a member of the Services Club in Quay Street.
The funeral took place at St David's Church, Prendergast, on April 25th, followed by burial in City Road Cemetery, when Canon Geoffrey Gwyther officiated. The bearers were Eric Judd, Mark Dimberley, Chris Roach and Rodger Young.
The principal mourners were the immediate family, Stephen, Michaela, Ashton, Michael and Doris, Shirley and Eric.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Roy Folland and Son, Haverfordwest.
MRS B. E. M. Palmer
MASTLEBRIDGE
Masie Palmer died on May 2nd, at St Non's Ward, Withybush Hospital, aged 82.
Maisie was born and brought up in Mastlebridge and was educated at Neyland School. She also attended Little Honeybor-ough Chapel.
After leaving school, Maisie worked in local retail shops and at RAF Brawdy, where she retired from in 1981.
Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Wally, Maisie leaves to mourn: John (son); Joyce and William (daughter and son-in-law); Jayne Walker and Raymond Harries (daughter and partner); Mark and Fiona, Damon and Sue (grandsons and wives); Claire and Rhian (granddaughters); Connor and Hamish (great grandsons); John and Gwen McCormick (brother and sister); Winnie Caruanna and June Phillips (sisters-in-law), plus nephews, nieces, cousins and many family friends too numerous to mention.
The funeral took place on May 9th at Little Honeyborough Chapel, where Rev Stephen Lee officiated. Interment followed at Neyland Cemetery.
The bearers were Mark, Damon and Stephen McGarvie and Ken Clay.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Glyn Thomas and Sons, Freystrop.

Tenby
The funeral took place on Tuesday, May 20th, of Margaret Einon Edwards, of The Sheilings, 7 Harding Street, Tenby, who died on Tuesday, May 13th at Withybush Hospital. She was 88.
A large gathering of family and friends attended the funeral service at St John's Church, Tenby which was followed by a service at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth. The service was officiated by Rev Nanette Lewis-Head and the organist was Alan Adams.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband George, but is survived by Mike and Carolynn (son and daughter-in-law); Pam and Brin (daughter and son-in-law); Ian, Michelle, Richard, Sarah and Helen (grandchildren); Aaron (great grandchild); Caroline, John and family; Trevor and family and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
The bearers were great nephews Ian and Chris, Les Tovey and Richard Ormond.
Donations if desired, for St John's Church, Tenby or Withybush Hospital League of Friends, may be sent to W. and M. J. Rossiter and Sons, The Old Rectory, The Norton, Tenby, who carried out the funeral arrangements.

Devon (formerly Pembroke Dock)
Mary Gwendoline Davies, formerly of Bush Street Pembroke Dock but recently of Ottery St Mary, Devon, died suddenly at home at the age of 59.
She leaves to mourn Mike and Tanya (brother and sister-in-law), and Jamie and Shara (nephew and niece).
The funeral took place on April 21st at St Mary's Church, Ottery St Mary, followed by private cremation.

Carew
The funeral service took place at Parc Gwyn on May 9th of Geoffrey Thomas Hughes, of Carew, who died at Withybush Hospital on May 2nd.
A large crowd of family, friends and sportsmen attended the service which was officiated by the Venerable Graham Davies. The lesson was read by Ian Jones.
Geoffrey was well known for playing cricket in his younger days for Lawrenny and later becoming a football referee. He was also the owner/driver for Mix Concrete.
He leaves to mourn: Dolly (wife) and Gillian and Christer (daughter and son-in-law) and Hannah and Louise (grandchildren).
The funeral directors were W. and M. J. Rossiter and Sons, Tenby.
