An Indian restaurant worker appeared in front of Haverfordwest Magistrates Court, yesterday (Thursday) charged with sexual touching without consent and two counts of assault.

The incident was alleged to have taken place in the Little India restaurant in Tenby on the night of August 23rd.

Mohammed Ahad, who gave his bail address as 118 Thornhill Road, Houndsworth, Birmingham, was accused of putting his hand up a customer's skirt and then slapping the girl and causing a cigarette burn to her friend.

Ahad, known as Ice, had pleaded not guilty to all three charges.

Ahad, aged 25, appeared via video link from Swansea prison. Dressed in a light blue T-shirt he spoke only to confirm his name and address and agree to bail conditions.

He was granted bail on the conditions that he lives and sleeps at his parent's house in Birmingham and does not enter Wales except t o attend court. He is to report daily to Houndsworth police station and is not to contact any of the prosecution witnesses.

He was also prohibited from entering any licensed premises apart from the Cinnamon Spice restaurant in Walsal where he will work.

Ahad will appear in front of Haverfordwest magistrates on October 18th for a pre trial hearing.
